I start by listening to clients and co-workers to understand a project — its goals, objectives and audience. As we explore brand, business and audience needs, fresh thinking begins to connect the dots between raw concepts and innovative solutions.

As the team works, I contribute strategies and craft content that serve the goal. I look beyond the project into a user’s mind and ask: "Would this concept grab and hold a reader’s attention? Will this content inspire action?”

Once we agree on a final direction, I draft copy and work with the team to balance form and function, strategy and design. Invariably, the result is an inspired solution that hits the target.
