Elderhostel Launches Book Club

Topping this list of books suggested by Elderhostelers in an online poll, The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown has been selected as the first book in the new Elderhostel Book Club. Exhaustively researched, The Da Vinci Code is a literary thriller, at once an exploration of esoteric Western history and an international murder mystery.
“We’re thrilled to be launching the book club,” says James Moses, Elderhostel President & CEO. "But we wanted to do more than just read a book a month. So we’ll be inviting guest authors and scholars to moderate and lead discussions about the books.”
Launching in November, the club will read a book each month and participate in online discussions led by writers and scholars with expertise related to the book. To participate in the online conversations, Elderhostelers will log into their accounts, access the Elderhostel discussion boards and join discussions related to the book. All visitors to the online discussion boards will be able to read postings, but only participants logged into their personal accounts...
